It has been a while since I have been making art for not work. But I want to get back into the swing of things. Because making things is awesome.

This a longer project I am working on called "the girl with stars in her eyes."
It will be a short comic about a girl, the stars and a boy.
I miss seeing the stars at night, so they haunt my dreams.

winter wishes..

Well, we have hit December so I don't feel guilty about having painted Christmas-y things.

Skyrim and life have left me a bit distracted from art lately. Felt good to paint this. I am really into cutesy-girl things, so painting this deer on deer sweetness was rejuvenating.

shocking. But at least, she won't feel empty inside anymore.

Been a busy week. Lost two wonderful roomates ( :( ), and am now trying to fill the emptiness (..in the apartment?) with something else. Tears.

Really wanted to paint a fabulous older lady. Totally rocking her age and wearing her silver hair with confidence.

Been busy last week finishing up some backgrounds for our next book. It has left me wanting to draw lots again. Been working away at a larger project hoping to finish next year. :D

So, there have been a lot of awesome things with dragons lately, so I thought I would give it a shot too. Somehow drawing a dragon just turned into this guy...


...and the drawing just went on from there.
When I was younger I was way more into having an imaginary pet tiger (or something). But this would be pretty cool too.

not really sure how I feel about this but... been having not-wanting-to-finish-anything problems. So spent time on a smaller painting could finish in relatively small amount of time.

In other other news. Fan Expo has come and gone. It was great fun, and I am definitely going to go out again next year. Here are some of my leftover cards from the table this year.

.. ..Well, he was tired of walking around naked. And baby's shirt and hat looked like they would fit just right. Cat was generous though. After some investigation he decided to leave said baby's poopy diaper alone.

Also. I have been painting a lot of cats lately. Some might say too many. But I disagree.
