tea time

So this is what I was working on for quite a while last year. A set of illustration and designs for tea and coffee packages. I really enjoyed this project and am really happy to have an actual physical product from all this time spent. I gave away a bunch of these as presents for Christmas, and kept a set I can use for my own tea and coffee.

As it stands right now I have made labels for the following:
Coffee
Green tea
White tea
Chai
Rooibos
Earl Grey

Still thinking of making a few more kinds, as well as a tea party poster with all animals on it.
But yeah. Pretty happy with the end product and definetely want to pursue more projects like this in the new year.

I am having a blast doing these. Not sure if I will go with the classic green tea next or do Mr Bengal Tiger Spice.

In other news, I got my copy of the book Life of the Party, that I worked on the cover of. How exciting. It's very nice to see it in print.

tea time

Here is one of the tea projects I have been designing/illustrating. I figure I should combine those that I love most. Art and tea. (sorry nik!)

So here is one project I was doing, painting children in some kind of imagined scenario with an animal. There is still a little bit to do on the Tutle tea party and the griffin painting is not finished, but here is where i got to during this semester. Painting on found furnitures was definatley a great experience adn is someting I will probably do more of in the future.

sunday afternoons

Teaparty with the boys in my life. I love sunday afternoons in the summer.

Been really busy with co-op and working, so haven't done much personal work. will post work form this summer as soon as i can, but likely wont be until after september.
It's been a beautiful summer so far, though also one of the busiest.
